I'm leaning toward an acrylic for my >200g build. Glass is better for scratches but I'm more worried about leakage than scratching. If a seam pops not only will the life be lost but the costs tothe install room will be equal of higher. See a few manufactures out there just not sure who's be best to go with. Need your opinions.

your home insurance will cover any water damages for a blown tank. You can speak with your broker to confirm this. They wont cover livestock but they will cover equipment/property damage.

Macilwu on Ebay (aka ADVANCED ACRYLICS) builds tanks of all sizes and his prices are really competitive even with shipping if you are still interested in Acrylic.

Another suggestion for James at Envision Acrylics. He built my 90x30x25 and also 5 other tanks for my friends and we've all been really pleased with his quality
