Who wants a shrimp?! A ritual thread

Just hear me out. I have 5 tanks and 3 dogs. Two of my FW tanks get fed freeze dried krill every night. At some point years ago (and I have no idea when) my dogs decided that they had to have some of that. Over time, it has become a ritual. When it's time to feed the krill, I holler "who wants a shrimp?!" and three dogs come running. They all line up and sit down (I never told them they had to do that). They each get 2 krill. Yogi first, then Merlin, then Bandit. As each one gets their snack, they wander off. It's just what we do.

So my question is: Does anyone else have a quirky habit that over time has become a part of everyday life? Doesn't have to be reef related.

7:30 every night... my dog rings her bell to go outside (to get our attention) and then walks us over to the refrigerator for her nightly carrots. She loves vegetables!

My dog Lulu is extremely intelligent. So naturally she tries to talk to us and tell us what’s going on. For example, if she needs to go outside she will frisk around and yip. I ask her if she needs to go, and she responds with a series of snaps and snorts. Pictures of her hunting in the oregano.

I have two cats and a huskie, as well as my reef tank. All three of them get fed manually twice a day (The reef tank gets a third automated feeding.

4 am... every morning, without fail, I have a cat on my chest.
Then a huskie on my legs...
Then a cat that yowls super loud until I'm up.

I haven't needed an alarm clock in years.

It's not my morning ritual, but it sure as heck is theirs.

My late dog loved brussel sprouts. Don’t know how or why. But if a single Brussel was in my house for any reason he knew and wanted it. He loved them. Don’t think I’ll ever look at one again the same sense he passed.
