Hi just wondering if my inverts are trying to go high in the tank means I have a problem? Because I hadn’t calibrated my refractometer in a while and did it 2 nights ago. Before calibrated it was 1.025 and then I calibrated it with some of that premixed water that has a specific salinity and after I calibrated it it read 1.0275ish. I had noticed a decrease in health of all my corals and I lost almost all my inverts(8) and my Duncan especially was not doing well it almost died(I will show some picture). So I added about a gallon of distilled water and got it back to 1.025 and today I checked it again and it was 1.027 and so I added some more distilled to get it back down. I was wondering if that could have caused a emerald crab a type of snail from Africa and 6 snails and more are very weak. Could it have been that slow uprising of salinity or something like copper?
By the way my tank is a 29 gallon and other than the salinity my water chemistry is perfect.
Now onto the pics.
