I almost tricked myself into thinking were using the wrong spectrum on our
Lighting since every yellow acro "wild specimen" that comes in morphs... Thinking about
It more and more I got a pink lemonade that is mcdonalds yellow and a orange
Digi that's brighter than a tangerine... What's the deal with no yellow or orange sticks??!? I'm tired of blue and green....:( Same for reds also... There is pinks but no true red really only one or 2... Anyone got Any ideas???
Give Bioreef, in Jacksonville Fl, a call and see if they have any of the reef raft highlander frags left. they were bright orange on the top and green near the base. Very cool looking.

FYI, I was in there and they had a number of frags labeled Reef Raft. I bought one of them - the mojito - and haven't been able to find a colony shot. I contacted RR USA and they said that neither the Highlander nor the Mojito were their corals. Possibly RR Asia or Canada, but he seemed pretty sure it wasn't RR at all.

I have no info on where they get their corals. Max seems like a straight shooter and I would venture to guess he would answer any questions on where they get their coral. I don't live close enough to go in and chat with him about. To be honest I see him 3 times a year. :) 2 times at shows and once a year when I am in Jacksonville.

Yeah, I got that feeling too, but it's disturbing that they seem to be labeling corals like that.

Rocky mountain frags has a few nice orange corals and their transistor is yellow. There are a few more places that sell yellow corals that will hold their color as well. Takes some experimenting with certain vendors and lots of talking about what you want before you buy.

I've noticed a few wild Aussie colonies at my wholesaler come in yellow recently. But it usually takes me months to nurse one back to health.

I've moved this spathulata to more light and is truly yellow to the eye now. No yellow green at all in person. Has pink tips. Grown from a frag in my tank.
