Why did you not use live rock?

Thanks. I got my live rock from KP Aquatics and the live sand from TBS.

One consideration with live rock is even if we all decided it was the best there isn’t enough to supply more than a few percent of the hobby.

So part of the discussion is how do we make the rock live? Can we do it with all of the good and near none of the bad ?
