It's only a 13 gallon tank so it looks really big.The one on the top right looks massive, I thought mine was big being 6-7 inches lol. Mine has never bubbled up, even at the lfs. Since put in the tank, about 5 months ago, it hasn't moved more than an inch or 2 from the rock it planted itself on. I've changed the scape a few times moving the rock that it's on to different places. Never a bubble.
I was wondering if anyone has done a comparison of how different types of flow affect the BTAs. I've seen some tanks that have a very quick sloshing back and forth type of flow, which seem to have a more bubbly nems. (@Lasse has tanks with this type of flow) While other tanks have more of a long duration surge flow which to me seems to result in a stringier nem. Any thoughts?
