That was my thought as well. Any “immunity” a fish has before qt, it likely has after, along with a lower load of disease vectors. Not many types of immunity are lost in a few weeks. I agree qt may weaken them, just as many harsh human medications can.
Most people don't do that and that is the main reason we have disease threads.
