Obvious answers, but hope it grabbed some attention. Years ago before any bans were placrd and we had the choice of indo vs aussie, we often preferred aussie. The prices were higher, but the quality and collection practices usually better, not to mention the elegance coral with aussie vs indo problems.
Now that we dont have a choice due to the ban, everyone wants Indonesian corals and aussies are so every day run of the mill. Just wondering what you miss most about the old Indonesian trade. Personally I miss the lower prices, and the massive wall frogspawn the most.

Also, any news about the bans?

Besides prices, we're going down memory lane
The first photo is one of the biggest softies in private hands. 18 " + long when open. 12/2017

Just some examples

I believe it's because of supply and demand. Because there is now zero supply of certain corals due the ban, it has made them rare and the demand increases as these might be the last time they can get their hands on the corals from Indo. I prefer the Aussie stuff to be honest.

Personally, I think preference will always be LPS anyway. I think that the prices in part because of supply and demand. But also because of collector-itis. Just look at the prices of Indo torches.

There was a stick laying in my backyard for weeks that my dog ignored. When my neighbors dog came over and grabbed said stick there was nothing in the world my dog then wanted more. Since humans and dogs share a sizable, common genetic code, that’s my analogy for why we miss things once they’re unavailable.

The quality and availability of certain anemones is a real pain without Indonesia.

I like Indonesian sticks, I love the analogy, but it fails to explain how come I like your dog better than my ex-wife? Maybe some things just can’t be rationally explained like a dogs change in behavior.
I hope Indonesia starts shipping coral again but the system is broken and stubbornly closed down at the moment. Who knows if our countries will ever reconcile or if the ban will continue?

I miss them because I want a Red Nem and can not afford 800 bizillion dollars. Also I have a bubble coral thats form there. instead of laying flat it is like a cone shape. When you feed it it looks like a hot air balloon and I would like another one in white to go with my green one.
