Why does my anemone do this?

My gbta is open and huge every day until 4pm - 5pm then it closes and spits out brown strings every day and opens up huge at 9pm

Ph 8.0
Nitrate 5 - 10
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Alkalinity 9

I got it a week ago and it's been doing this every day at the same time

My tank has been running with pre cycled live rock and live sand for 7 months

First image is 4pm - 5pm

Second image is 9pm

Not an expert on Anemone's but if it's around the time your lights dim, a lot of LPS corals retract at night. Nitrate and Phosphates are probably something I would look at too.

My lights are bright at 4 though

IMO, just poopin' and going to sleep for the night. Mine's been doing it for years.

Update:the anemone stopped doing that weird thing and it even split and now I have 2

Great. When anemone divide they often deflated and look sick.
