Been looking at new lights. My Razor’s are dated to say the least and for some reason I’m not seeing much, (dare I say it?)

I’m doing great!!!

Was gonna throw in the Metal Halides, I hear they’re making a comeback, Like Vinyl. But I won’t be able to pay the electric bill after I pay for these freakin’ lights! $800.00 for a light with no wifi, controller, phone app and you gotta buy a headphone wire to connect it to the other lights if you buy more than one!

Was gonna throw in the Metal Halides

I saw pictures of coral growth of t5 vs halides vs led. I did not like halides caused corals to grow upward as were t5 was more bushy

That's nothing... Much more than that stored there. I had the priviledge of meeting an awesome gentleman, Dan, at the Atlanta Aquarium last week and after chatting for awhile he took us on a behind the scenes, behind the scenes tour. It was impressive to see that stuff that goes on in the basements.

It was awesome! That aquarium is amazing and the reef tank was fantastic and even more so when I saw how they make the waves and got to see their frags tanks and, and, and..... I'll post more pics later

I run 2 orbit marine ic leds. I just don't see the right coraline growth.
Thinking of adding the aquatic life t5 hybrid fixture, or a retro fit kit since I have a canopy.

T5 hybrid have been and continue to be the Holy Grail. The new thing is LED strips instead of the T5 bulbs.

Tank is ready to be placed on stand.
I wanted to water test it prior but don’t think it’s possible being that plumbing is not installed and it would need the clearance underneath for the bulkheads.
My crew is going to lift it into place on Tuesday
Can’t wait!!!
