So pals started phase three of the diy live rock, the curing process, after about two weeks of open air drying so that all the ingredients harden and cure enough, not I dumned all the rock in a 200lts drum and filled with water and a powerhead for circulation, till next time cu guys keep posting pls :)
Hello fellow reefers, today a surprise by the postman :) some more tools of the trade have arrived, things shaping up, rock work still curing with a ph high of 12 coming down little by little first tests showed a oh of 14 wwwwhhhoooaaaa, but improving day by day, till more updates cu guys please give me feedback :) Todays arrivals are my new zeolite reactor , 2 double nozzle loc lines, some filter socks 200 microns, and a non return valve for the return pipe just to be on the safe side of things :)
Hi guys finally moved to my new home and will continue with work on the tank, I upgraded my old Ro unit to an Ro-di, basically had 2 ro's and combined them to one, i went to my ro specialist, combined two membranes plus added two Di filters, tested already with awesome results of 0ppm.
AS for the ro drain I had the task to install it under the floor tiling straight to my shaft and up 2 storeys to my water reservoir on the roof as by law here in Malta houses has to have these kind of tanks to store water.
Pvc fittings have also arrived to papa with some nice valves bought from a local factory with some good prices as well
That T piece ↑ will be connected to that blue drum for the pre mixed saltwater which when needed will have a valve opended and new saltwater mix will be pumped to the sump in waterchanges, also this is the Durso pipe installed
Well hope you liked the updates, pls send comments as always ;)
