Something must have gone through my tank because i've had a couple coral die. I think i had too much ultra phos and too high aluminum. Im pretty sure that my Scoly has died. It doesnt respond to feeding anymore and it's losing tissue. The tissue was also hard when I touched it. If I leave it in to give it a chance will it harm the tank? Its an 18 gallon tank and I'm always battling phosphates

A coral dying in the tank won't cause any harm, most of us has had corals die in our tanks, sometimes several corals. If you think something got into the water then a water change might help.

That coral is nowhere near dead.

It just needs a low, light low flow area with sufficient nutrients to recover over a few months.

I agree. That Scoly is not dead at all. Just unhappy. The spot is bad. The water is missing something. A parameter is off. Somethings going on but it’s definitely alive
