I put a piece of black pvc pipe in The tank and the clowns seems to host it; but no eggs or breeding in the last year; they are about 2.5” and 2”

would a ceramic flowerpot be better?

They’ve been known to breed in flower pots so I couldn’t see why not

Bring the temperature up to 82 Fahrenheit on the tank and I don’t know how much you feed per day but that’s also the cause that and temperature

They like laying on smooth, flat surfaces, so a lot of people use ceramic tiles. Flowerpots also work. They may lay on the PVC pipe, but it depends on the diameter. If too small, the likelihood is less.
