i have a pretty large wall hammer on my sandbed which I would like to get up on the rocks as I need to get more flow into my sand but the hammer sits directly in the way.
The only spot on the rocks where I can place it is a couple of inches from my Duncan’s which are in a perfect spot.
Would placing my hammer that close cause either one to sting the other?

My hammer is dangerously close to my duncan and several times it has stung the nearest head. They are about 3-4 inches apart.

The duncan just retracts, but I'm sure the hammer would have no trouble killing the duncan if it were closer. You said yours would be two inches apart? That might be too close for comfort.

Yeah around 2-3 away. Maybe less when the hammer is out completely as he does get big. I'l just have to try find amother spot for him, he does better in high flow but the flow I'm needing is probably too much
