I am thinking about getting a 75 gallon. I live in a third story apartment, but I’m really worried that the floor might not be able to support the tank. What are your guises thoughts on this?

It honestly depends on the construction of your apartment and where the supports are in comparison to your tank placement. Without talking to someone who can check those things for you, you can't really get a clear answer. For a 75 gallon, JUST the weight of the water in the tank will be 625.5 lbs, then you have to take into account the weight of the stand, the tank itself, your live rock, equipment, and if you're going to have a sump... you will most likely surpass 1,000lbs.

I also know from past experiences of talking to people in apartments, a lot of landlords have strict rules on how large of an aquarium people can have due to the massive weight.
