I've just epoxied my monti cap frag here. Only to realise it's getting some sort of shade. Although the tips are getting a little light, will it still grow outwards with the amount of light on the tips or does it have to be fully exposed to the light.

I think it will grow but I would move it to the right depending on how well you attached it.

In my experience whatever part is shadowed will die off.

Another question.

I used glue on another monti cap and I also wanted to move it to another location.
Easy to remove with the glue? what is the best way to do so.

My experience with this particular monti cap, is that it will still thrive in low light. Mine is in a similar spot and has been growing steadily for a long time now. Since it's epoxied, I would leave it because removing it might damage the frag. Give it a week and see how it does? Up to you

It will grow but faster under light

A pair of bone cutters will pop off glued down coral without any issues, especially if it hasn’t encrusted yet.
