I have a Waterbox 100.3 that I am currently working on assembling. I purchased a Neptune Systems COR-15 (1,500 GPH) for the return pump. I plan to run mu UV sterilizer and possibly an algae reactor in the future. As this is the first system that I will have had that has a sump, I am trying to figure out plumbing.

I would like to create a manifold that the UV sterilizer and algae reactor can run off of. However, I don't know if the COR-15 will be enough or not. I see two options:

  1. Return the COR-15 (1,500 GPH) for a COR-20 (2,000 GPH)
  2. Use a separate pump for the manifold and let the COR-15 handle the return
I am not worried about the turnover rate throughout the sump; I will have plenty of turnover in the display, which is where it matters most.

I'd love your thoughts, recommendations, concerns, and or experiences that you have had with a similar configuration.

Thank you!

I have 2 cor 15's on my 90 I think you might be best off running a manifold on a separate pump, I made a 2 position manifold for each pump, the cor 15 looses a lot of flow with any restrictions, I like the pumps and the controllability and their quietness. But they don't really do well with much head pressure.
