Going from 52g to 117g I filled the 117 with live sand. Live rock. Transfered some live rock, bio balls. About 10g of water from the 50g and a bottle of fritz live bacteria. I was thinking about taking 52g of water out the 117g than replacing all my old tank water (52g)and transferring everything over but I’m worried about my sps. Do you think everything will be ok. I have a ton of sticks

I did a trial with some euphilliya they all are doing great. My main concern is sps. I will be transferring everything water, rock. Sponge filter. (Not sand)thanks!!

Following! I’m upgrading from a 50g to a 125 so I’m gonna be doing the exact same thing, lots of sticks and euphyllia lol

I’m about to just say screw it and swap everything over. I put a low end acro in yesterday. Still looking good today. I’d imagein if I transfer everything over it’s just like doing a big water change. As long as I keep levels stable to the best of my ability things will be ok. I have too many corals to fit in my small tank this week so they have to go in the big one lol
