Hey yall,

I currently have a redsea 425 which i believe is around 90-95 gallons of actual water when i account for the rock/sand/ equipment. I have a waterbox 190.5 on order which im figuring will be 160ish gallons of actual water. How do i go about setting up my new tank and transferring everything over right away?

Can i just move all my rock and water to the new tank, load the additional 60 gallons of water and immediately add my livestock in or do I need to set up the new tank, cycle it, and then transfer everything.

I would love to not have two big tanks in my office at the same time.

Take everything you can from the old and add to the new.
You won't cycle per se, but you may have a little fluctuation in the new tank once you get everything moved over.
Save as much as you can to minimize any spikes from ammonia on down
