Hello,

I've been in the freshwater fish hobby for 20 years with successful planted tanks.
I started my first reef tank 3 months ago after my 3 girls have begged me for the passed 2 years, and would like to populate it with some coral and fish. I currently have a 1 frag Duncan and 1 frag Zoa , 2 clowns, and 2 damsels (yes all getting along well and would love to add.
I'm located in Central California so anyone in the Bay Area, Modesto, Tracy, Sacramento, Merced area I have no problem driving to pick up anything your willing to get rid of to help me out. Looking to pay it forward in the future.
Appreciate any help! Happy Holidays!

Hope you found some corals. In my area there are local facebook pages for selling and sharing corals. Maybe there is something similar in your area.
Hi...yes someone pointed me to Bay area reefers. I've met with a couple guys already and they were awesome guys. They gave me way more corals than I could ask for and I look forward to paying it forward when the time comes.

Just came across this thread. How are the new coral doing? Any issues? Post pics when you can.
They are doing great. Here are some I took a couple weeks ago. I'll try and take some tmrw for updates.

Very nice start man. Welcome to the hobby, you’re off to a great start.
If you weren’t on the other side of the country I’d gladly give you some of my Duncans as well, but shipping may be a nightmare price wise. If anything changes, will let you know.

Looks great! If you ever frag those green palys make sure to wear glasses and gloves. They have a lot of palytoxin compared to other zoas. You don't want to squirt that in your eye!

Also, FreshSaltyGuy, all the corals you’re receiving, are you dipping or quarantining them before you introduce to your tank (from the pics, everything you already got looks good and healthy, but curious as to whether you plan to dip or quarantine future arrivals).

Hey thank you for the welcome as well as the offer very nice of you. I do have a Duncan already I didn't post because it was the first coral I bought myself and not part of what I got from the BAReefers club.
