Its a 150 gallon tank no corals fowlr, with currently a:

3" blue hippo tang
3.5" sailfin tang
2.5" purple tang
6" foxface rabbitfish
2.75" very very peaceful picasso triggerfish
3" clownfish

Thinking of adding a 3" xanthurus cream angel, a 2" valentini puffer, 3" spotband butterfly and maybe just maybe if space allows a 1" lyretail wrasse, i know once the tangs get bigger they'll need more space i am planning to sell them or putting them in a different tank.

BEFORE I had a gem tang in it(which i sold) that DESTROYED(not sure who it was but it wasnt the picasso) a 2.5" CORAL BEAUTY angel(so its dead now), however i dont know if it was the purple tang or the gem tang but i saw the purple tang chasing it once, im worried the same thing will happen to the new $90 3.5" xanthurus cream angelfish.... help

It’s always a crap shoot. I don’t know much about Gem as they are super expensiv, but is the LFS i go to they seem pretty chill.

A purple isn’t terrible but they can be aggressive sometimes but seemingly with tangs of the same shape. Not sure who took out the CB.

always a crapshoot
