Will this be a problem for a starfish?

So i have a salinity and element issue in my tank. its been fluctuating until recently when i added in an ATO included with my RSR and ive been slowly topping off evaporated water with salt water to get back to 1.026sg... right now its at 1.024sg. Would i have any problems with housing a starfish as i bring these elements back up to where i want them? Thank you!
