I purchased one of the brightest btas I've ever seen and it came today. Unfortunately everytime they look like this, they don't make it and that Frickin sucks because I've never even seen this one. It's called a skittles bta and it came from corals anonymous. I've always had good luck with them in the past. Can someone help me out if there's a chance to save it? I placed it in the specimen cup after drip acclimating it.

Here's its current state. It should be known that I have 6 different types of btas and would like to think I know what I'm doing for the most part.

I imagine your filtration should be able to handle the cloudiness you speak of. If anemones are doing well in your tank, I would think your new should show signs of improvement rather quickly if it has a chance to make it. IMO

Yea turn the flow off let it breathe in a healthy tank and attach and do it’s thing, I just ordered two nems from corals anonymous my first purchase ever, are they really this bad?!

It’s puking its guts out. It will die in the tiny container and I don’t know what else you have that anemone vomit could hurt?
I'll send a pic quick. I had a 90 gal wave aquarium but it started leaking so I got a temp 75 and drilled it. I ordered a red sea reefer 500 and waiting for it. Overflow goes to the basement where there's 70gal of sump space. For lighting I have the Mac spec razor 300. Wave makers are Max spec 300 series that work in unison

Get that poor thing in some clean water ASAP. Do you have a acclimation box?

I’ve put injured specimens in the sump (with an emergency light) to keep them in their delicate state and give them a chance to recover. Sometimes they make it..

Got him in there. He was unpack within 5 minutes of delivery. Floated until temps matched and drip acclimated for about an hour which is probably over kill under normal circumstances.

I'll try doing that before I go to bed.
