I’ve had this digiata coral for 1 year had some sort of issue with the tank around 6 months ago where I lost most my sps this one went white in the middle now algae has formed on the middle making it a dark brown colour. However it’s definitely based out a little more and still glows under blues and I can still see a few polyps - will the coral grow over the algae again or will it just end up dying at one point?

Cut out the bad parts and make two new frags of it. I've brought back sticks with a lot less tissue than what you have there.

Not sure how I would cut it as it’s just the top that is alive and the base
