Been using basic filtration and filter floss but someone on r2r recommended a 25 micron pleated water filter cartridge. wondering if this one would work well I would just put it in my first slot in my all in one box it would fit perfectly

Your rodi system should be polishing your water.if you have a resin cartridge

I don't think you need either. But if you have floating particles that 25 micron filter will do it.

This might help you you.
Activated Carbon
is by far the best known chemical filter media and is widely used to get crystal clear aquarium water. Crushed charcoal, aquarium carbon sucks up dyes and odours and locks it away inside, before being removed and replaced by the owner.

I already have activated carbon so it's pretty clear but I want that super super clear water where everything in the tank appears to be almost floating, any suggestions?

Off hand I don't have any suggestions, and without knowing everything you do already , i would not want to just spit ball. But this might help in your quest.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://aquariumscience.org/index.php/6-4-2-polishing-filtration/#:~:text=The%20term%20%E2%80%9Cpolishing%20filtration%E2%80%9D%20is,out%20particles%20one%20can%20see.&ved=2ahUKEwjF8NTUprqFAxWlg4kEHQ5CCCkQFnoECBQQBQ&usg=AOvVaw1oIoFjwnZ9KqLR2Hwvo3C_

Not sure why link didn't go but , I would really start by getting a stage 4 rodi system first. You will if you do not have one. Then if you wanna polish you water more. Look into this

Could you briefly explain how a stage 4 rodi system would work? And what I'd use it for?

I have used pleated style filters in freshwater never in salt but dont see why it wouldnt work. Although I have used them in a canister with a pump feeding it. I am not sure how a pleated cartridge would do any better than fleece in the system.

Simply put it filter the water in 3 stages befor filtering though the 4th stage, which is polishing the water and 0 tds befor you put in your tank. Brs has a video on it
