I see that's geared for garden hoses, but I'm looking for something just like that for my kitchen faucet that can connect to 1/4" hose. I don't want the valve switch, I want to take it on and off as needed since nothing is perminant.

Can someone guide me to something that will work please?

Sorry but no. Best thing to do is unscrew tip from faucet and take it to your local hardware store to match threads.

If your confident in your plumping...did this in my old apartment, the back pressure on the plumbing ended up making a real mess
