How big is the fuge? Looks like a great mix of red and blue :)

I don't see why it would not work. 24W is not a ton of power, but honestly you don't need very much at all. I've seen chaeto survive under just about any light source.

As it was not designed for marine applications, just make sure it stays clear of salt spray/creep.

That actually makes a decent fuge light. I have seen that light reviewed before for fuge purposes before here: https://aquanswers.com/best-led-refugium-light-grow-chaetomorpha-sump/

I don't claim that everything in that post is accurate by any means but it looks like a legitimately solid light for a fuge, especially for the price. Depends on how big of a fuge you are going. The wattage/par is low compared to photon lazer canons like the kessil H380 for instance, but if you arent doing that wide or deep of a fuge it would make a solid enough option. it really depends on how wide and deep you are going and whether or not there is a certain mounting height limitation or preference in your build. For bigger/deeper fuges on a budget i would get something like one of those 300w black boxes like one of these looking things for about 50-60$

Oh, i just noticed you already bought it. Yeah you are fine with that one IMO. If it isnt quite the spread or ummph you are looking for you can always add a second one for more ummph later.
