So reefers here is the story of my little reef.
I had previous tanks for years but due to moving for work we had a few years out of the hobby.
I got back in with a Red Sea Reefer 250 with dry rock and and sand in June 2020.

2 x Hydra 32HD @aquaillumination

Aqua Excel AE-CSYI

Nero 5 and Maxspect Jump 2K

Used bottled bacteria to get the cycle going and added a few things after about 6 weeks.

Things finally started to settle down around the 8 month mark with some good growth using Aquaforest Comp 123, AF pure AF growth and AF power.

Well now 10months back my little water world is looking ok. Plenty of room for more corals though haha.

1 x Two spot hog fish
2 x Clowns
1 x Blue Tang
1 x Sailfin Tang
6 x Blue Chromis

So hopefully it continues to fill out and grow.
current parameters are;

Phos - 0.04
Nitrate- 2.5
Cal - 455
Alk - 8.3
Mag - 1410

had 6 days of over 40 degrees Celsius in a row here. Managed to keep the temp down reasonably.
few things still a bit sad but bouncing back.
