We have a wooden canopy for our 65 gallon tank. It was orginally set up for fresh water until we got a 150 freshwater and made our 65 salt.
We personally like the look of the canopy on the tank and DO NOT WANT TO TOSS IT OUT.
Has anyone took an existing 8-10 inch canopy and made it taller to fit a reef light under it at 12-14 inches of height? We can get a light but it would only be 6 inches above the water and I would like to make it 12-14 inches taller but wanted to see some ideas.
I know many people do not like the canopy but we personally do and want to keep it.
