Unlike my entirely positive interaction with another company who's live fish order arrived the same day, this was not a positive experience.

I ordered 3 watanabe angels. They arrived last Friday.

The Good:
2 huge boxes arrived, containing 3 very large bags with a lot of water. I want to stress how impressed I was by this.
All 3 angels arrived alive.
The largest angel (I ordered one larger to transform to a male) was in good health.
Everything arrived on time.

The Bad:
The heat pads in all boxes were stone cold. The water for all 3 fish was cool. One of the heater pads appears to have split and been placed in a standard mailing envelope in the box. Why go to such lengths to provide great boxes and huge bags of water to then stint on the heater pads?
Both smaller angels had fuzzy, shortened tails. One was very thin behind the skull, the next morning this one also had several raised bumps like the beginning of a pimple down the rear half of the body on one side.
Both were very subdued on introduction to the tank.
One of the two smaller ones seems to be on the mend and it has started taking enriched brineshrimp, regrettably the other has vanished entirely and has most likely perished due to the shabby state it showed up in. There's nothing in that aquarium to bother them or bully them.
I paid a premium for these fish, twice what other vendors have subsequently been asking for them, given WWC reputation I expected awesome quality and this was lacking.

I'm aware this is some kind of importer and arriving from the West Coast rather than WWC's place down in Florida, I'm surprise they're putting their name and reputation to it though.

Disappointing.

Thank you, I have replied to the original order notification emails from '[email protected]'. One of the smaller female is pulling through and feeding, and as said, the largest is fine, but if something could be done to refund the other smaller female, which really shouldn't have been sent out in that condition, that would be a good thing.
