worm on acropora ID

I found this little black worm-like thing burrowed in one of my sps coral that is suffering from rapid tissue necrosis. Unfortunately I do not know if it's a parasite but it from what I can tell it may be digging a hole (the hole is dead center of the middle branch) in the stony skeleton of my coral and camping out there.

If anyone can ID this thing please share any info. This is the only coral in my tank that I've seen so far with it.

Could you put it in a little clear container of water and try the photo again?

Ugh Ive already disposed of it :( I should of tried to get a better picture but My jerk reaction was to get rid of it quickly.
