Worm with tentacles coming out.

Alright what the heck is this thing now. He's been hanging out in my gsp and I took him out cause I just don't know what it is. Friend or foe. Do I put him back?
Its like a worm but has these tentacles. And he's made a casing around himself.

Yup. Either a hair worm (Cirratulidae) or a spaghetti worm (Terebellidae) which are both beneficial detritivores.
