Just listen to vetteguy, I am sure they aren't parasites. Just being fed a lot. Cut back on feeding a little. See if it helps trim down numbers.Great! What now? This is just fabulous!

It's possible, but I think it is. I have seachem matrix bio media in an fx4 with filter floss and carbon, and the other mechanical media in there. Trying to switch to a sump atm. I have a hob protein skimmer, uv sterilizer, 2 Wave Makers with filter pads on em to catch floating debris and to not chop my clowns up. I have 2 clownfish, about 1 1/2" a wrasse about 4 inches. 10 cerith Snails, some spionid worms, diatoms, about 110 lbs of dry rock. About 120 lbs of sand. In a 125g tank. And a yellow coral banded shrimp. Tank is a little more than a month old. Btw added about 250 gallons worth of matrix bio media. Is the canister maybe not handling the bioload of the tank?
Nope. Exactly what you see- detritus and slimeDo you think they are parasitic nematodes?
I'm confused. I know you mean they aren't parasitic. Are you saying they feed on detritus and slime?Nope. Exactly what you see- detritus and slime
The most effective medication for treating nematode infection is Fenbendazole. Also placing a piece of clam which takeslonger to spoil inside a panty hose will attract them and you can grab the whole bit and discard themOk there is a colony. I estimate about 500. I thought they might be nematodes aswell or rhabdocoela.
Will it kill copepods? The most effective medication for treating nematode infection is Fenbendazole. Also placing a piece of clam which takeslonger to spoil inside a panty hose will attract them and you can grab the whole bit and discard them
Sorry, but any response that requires one to have dead clams and pantyhose available is gonna make me laugh!!! No matter how accurate and helpful it is!The most effective medication for treating nematode infection is Fenbendazole. Also placing a piece of clam which takeslonger to spoil inside a panty hose will attract them and you can grab the whole bit and discard them
