Would these two work together in a 60 gallon tank for a pint an year because I plan to upgrade to much larger tank but just for an year would they be fine together they are both about 1-2 inches long the yellow is from Biota.

Probably, but be prepared to handle any aggression.

How would you recommend to handle the aggression?
Put one of them in another tank or the sump.
They may do fine, especially since they are both young. 60 gallons can be fine temporarily but for 2 territorial species, you have to plan accordingly :)

So you’re telling me that a fish can stay in the sump with the skimmer, etc???

Most small fish can stay in a sump compartment for a short time... Look at the tanks they are in at the fish store. And no, I would not put it in the same chamber as a pump.

So would just one work you think and if so which one is best?

It might be okay as a grow out tank. You may see aggression to other tank mates. It is far from ideal space.

I would probably just go with whatever I can find that is super tiny. If they are both the same size then tomini. I haven’t seen a 1 inch tomini in awhile but I suppose I also haven’t been looking.

Well I don’t know where you are located but I am here in Jacksonville and it was about 1-2 inches long just by sight and also it was written.
