Would torch just ride it out?

My torch coral was put into my new tank 2 weeks ago. I have increased the flow a couple of times and turned it up again this morning. If the torch was unhappy would it have retracted by now or does it hold on and possibly damage itself.

In my non expert opinion too much flow will cause them to close up. Mine seem to do well in higher flow, not necessarily extremely high, as long as it is not direct
