Something is off?
Yep, I'm a seriously lazy bugger!! I just need to get testing regularly really, nothing is wrong though haha

He's got some rare new wrasse that eats alk and poops no3 eating bacteria. Softies hate him.
hahahahahahaha I love this way too much!!

He should add a sailfin tang to balance the NO3 problem.
I have three fat butt butterflies doing that for me haha

I have had a small alk uptick, I can keep you honest, as I test about every 2 days.

Noooo please don't leave me, I'll be good I promise!!

Lock it up, get some testing done this go around! Morale is already low, bud, you don't want to lose another Team Manager, do you?!
hahaha I think we should sack the current manager regardless, he's useless as at testing :p

So did you do any testing by now?
This is getting frustrating.

If not, just throw some numbers in one of the next posts... everybody happy.

By the way, I think it is time for more new fish.
I hope you still love me Jan, I have been woefully ill the last week BUT I did do some testing!! Just didn't post it :D lol

Results aren't great, everything is pretty low but not awful. Getting my pH up is my main focus too, runs around 7 ;Blackeye I'll be getting a CO2 scrubber and I've also now pipe the skimmer intake to the window for fresh air!
I'm not going to give the full test run down but Alk was 5.4dKH and everything was similarly low. I'm going to use some leftover AF dosing stuff to bring everything back up slowly and get the CaRx throwing in some more alk too :)

Fish and corals to come in a week or two ;)

3x XR30 G4 Pro's running perpendicular to an Aquatic Hybrid
OR
2x XR30 G4 Pro's running parallel with a Hybrid?

Now the 3 would be the better option in my mind but having the T5's on the outer edges of the tank vs the slightly closer of the Radions running parallel, does worry me a little bit but should I even worry about that??

I have 3 XR30's running perpendicular to the T5's. It is manageable as the tank is 80cm wide.
If I could do it again, I'll go for 6 XR15's!
That would give the ultimate spread with T5's in the middle.
I've discussed with my LFS and he reckons having them parallel would be too wide so we've decided it's either going to be two XR30's or 5 XR15's if it'll fit hahaha I'll probs do diffusers on all of them as well

If this lighting question is not about a bigger tank, than I prefer to remind you that you anticipated a wrasse update as well. LOL
I have been nail biting ever since and just stopped at my elbows.

I would still go with the XR15's. And 4 would be enough for your tank I reckon.
