Hey all, I have a 200-gallon 6x3x2 aquarium. I reviewed Evolved's wrasse article and based on that information I created the following wrasse list.

I was wondering if someone can confirm if the following wrasses are compatible with each other:

  • Black leopard wrasse
  • Regular leopard wrasse
  • Yellow wrasse
  • Radiant wrasse
  • Melanurus Wrasse
  • Black-backed Wrasse
  • Red-Lined Wrasse
  • McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
  • Ruby long fin fairy wrasse

I was also wondering if the following fish would go well with the wrasses:

  • Yellow Tang
  • Blue Hippo Tang
  • Tomini Tang
  • Ocellaris Clownfish
  • Bluethroat triggerfish (Male)
  • Diamond Goby
  • Starry Blenny
  • Neon Goby

Another wrasse I want is the Dusky wrasse. However, I'm not sure how aggressive it would be towards the other wrasses on my list.

Bump
I can't comment on wrasse stocking (@evolved ?), but aside from the triggerfish (I always feel those are a coin toss), the other fish look like they'll be fine with the wrasses.

Perfect, I'm willing to take a gamble with the trigger. Hopefully Evolved will give his input on the wrasse compatibility.

200-gallon 6x3x2 aquarium.
These do not equate; those are my tanks dimensions and that comes out to 270 gallons.

Yes, nothing really concerning there.

It would be okay, but recognize that it also gets larger than the other Halichoeres you've listed and will be harder on the motile inverts.

I have no clue why I thought rounding to the nearest foot would be appropriate in this case lol. The actual dimensions are 70.9" L x 30" W x 21.7" H. It's an IM Nuvo 200 INT. Nice call though.

Hmm, I may reconsider it then. Do you have any reef-safe, non-aggressive suggestions for me?

What wrasses can I mix with a six line

Dead ones.....LOL. Just kidding. Six lines are notorious for not tolerating any other wrasses. There are exceptions with individuals of course but I would not recommend adding any wrasse with a six line (or any other pseudocheilinus wrasse).
