Wrasse ID needed

Was listed as line spot wrasse in LFS but checking that out, line spot is a flasher wrasse which this is not. We guessed that maybe it was a blue spot tamarin but to be honest I'm not sure what it is. Currently in QT with powder blue and small twisti wrasse.

Looks like a Dusky Wrasse.

Thanks, I found the 263 page wrasse ID post on here and started looking through that. I was leaning that way but wasn't 100% sure. Not all pics online are consistent and I'm not familiar with how their coloration and patterns change with age.

I believe there are 2 species that look very similar, marginatus and another. I can’t remember exactly what the other species is but I believe it’s H. annularis.

A clearer photo if possible will be best to tell as I can’t remember the differences but I believe it’s the colours in the face.

H.Annularis…the marginatus are usually much darker. Definitely not a Tamarin…my Dusky even at that size was already black with the tail line. Here it is about 4 years ago….
