Well I was screwed bu fish base there…

Also I’m terrible with fairy wrasse. They all have so many coloration variations and can look completely different depending on the lighting. Like the middle one looks like a completely different color and body shape.

I mean look at my exquisite. It looks so much darker than it did when so got it just a few months ago. Part of it is I now have bluer lights with more shimmer but it is also definitely a much darker colored wrasse then it used to be.

For now he is a model citizen, I have other tanks and if or when he changes his genus I will have a place for him
Yea unfortunately with these guys it’s not a matter of if it’s when. Cool wrasses though I do like the female coloring rather than the male if I’m going to be honeet

What is the difference? I like him for the fact he looks close to a parrot fish.

You’re right Halichoeres hortulanus is the yellow one and I think the other is a whitetail, halichoeres podostigma!

So earlier today I discovered this and accidentally turned it on and it took me too long to figure out how to turn it off:

Then now I forgot to pause the second video and then panicked trying to turn that $&@# bubbling off. I thought maybe my phone was broken and I would just constantly have a bubble sound. Then realized a YouTube was playing :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Wow
Honestly thought they were all Thalassoma. And at least two were labeled as Thalassoma but I didn’t take a picture of the blue head because that is easy. But I can’t argue with any of yours and I can’t figure out the ones you can’t.

Don't need a ID but info would be nice are madagascar flasher wrasse really as colourful in real life as they are in pictures? and how do you get them too flash do you need 2?

flasher wrasse.png
I’d say that’s a highly edited photo but they can be very pretty. Then all flashers can be extremely pretty. I think the blue is the prettiest. As for how to get them to be that pretty @OrionN ?
