Wrasse introduction time length

I've had a Solan Wrasse in a 120g for a few months. I got a Xmas Red-lined Wrasse and a Blue Side Fairy Wrasse. The Solan chased the Blue all over the tank. Ignored Xmas. I put Blue in isolation box. Solan still aggressively attacks box Blue is in. It's been 5 days. How long does it usually take for the aggression to stop?

I always take the agressor away and into an isolation as it resets its claimed part of the tank and dominance. Would go for 1 week minimum, but 2 would be better :)

The solon and blue are both from the same somewhat aggressive complex. You will likely have to get rid of one of them.

I cant think is a known wrasse lover/guru on here. The chart shows you the different sub groups families of wrasse species. The closer related especially in the more aggressive categories/complexes the less likely they can be kept together.

If you review the chart above it will help you choose wrasses that are in the least aggressive complexes or more aggressive wrasses from different complexes adding them last. As Euphyllia mentioned above you can pull the solon for 2 weeks and try again. I think it will still be too aggressive.

Based on the chart, I put the Blue Sided in a tank with a Lubbocks instead. The Lubbocks chased it a little but within a day they are getting along.

I noticed the chart applies to cirrhilabrus wrasses. Are there any problems mixing them with a Carpenters flasher wrasse (Paracheilinus Carpenteri)?

My full-grown Yellow Coris wrasse was found murdered and half eaten in my 80 gallon tanl. He had gotten along great with the Scopus and smaller tome tang for 6 months, and with even the one-spot fox. He had been beaten up a couple of weeks ago, but he was killed. Wonder if I can put a smaller yellow wrasse or a 6-line. Wonder who killed him

He was beaten up rather badly a couple of weeks ago, with a gas on his top but I can't catch who it is. I suspect the scopas tang. I am also guessig tat e was eating their piece of lettuce and they did not like that

I had a small scopas that was starting to get aggresive. I gave him to LFS.
