Wrasse Resort

I can’t wait to help enable so many MOAR wrasses!
You’re too good at enabling haha, already got me hunting for a couple of Tanakai’s to go with my pinkies.

I really enjoy your great wrasse photos. Been waiting for LFS to get me a Black Leopard, after see your I really want one now.
Thank you! It's not easy getting decent shots of them, they definitely make me work for every pic!

Update time.

First the sad news, I lost my diamond tail. I had him just shy of 3 yrs. I knew the end was coming because over the last couple of months he started to look old and tired, he no longer flashed nor tried to dominate the other wrasses. Flasher wrasses just don't live long enough. I miss my buddy :crying-face:

Thanks! He was my favorite.

It’s not all sad news. I have a new wrasse that I added after I lost my flasher. Pics in sec….

Gorgeous! I don't really know fish, so tell me what you got here... =)
Thanks! He's a pencil wrasse Pseudojuloides splendens. It's pretty rare to find a male pencil wrasse in good condition here locally so I couldn't pass him up.

Now that my diamond tail is gone the wrasse hierarchy is being resorted. My Nahacky's fairy wrasse has gotten bolder and taken issue with my pencil wrasse. He flashes and charges at him frequently. My pencil has a few minor blemishes from it, but it doesn't cause him to hide or affect his eating so I guess they're sorting it out.

Here's the Nahacky's puffing up getting ready to flash at him.

Slowly catching up. Look at that pencil! Looks beautiful. Fingers crossed and I’m still sad for your loss
We've missed you around here!

I missed a few around here too. Tank problems and life it is easier to hide and block it all out. Unfortunately everyone suffers
I’m always a txt away or a txt telling me to log on to chat wrasse
You’ve missed a lot. Nice to see you again though!
