Wrasse throwing up sand

My leopard wrasse has been throwing sand around by diving into it and immediately coming back up for two days now. Anyone with experience with the behavior? Seems fine overall still fat and eating well

I feed twice a day as well as nori every day. TDO croma boost Pellets mixed with herbivore extreme followed by mysis in the afternoon. Is that sufficient you think? She’s certainly not thin

i think it's just what they do. i feed a ton and my halichoeres wrasses will mow down food and 1 minute later be perusing the rocks/sand for more stuff

Mine do it too...it's fun to watch their behavior. If I move a rock or such they swarm the area knowing I probably uncovered some goodies. They also sometimes follow the Diamond Goby around letting him do the work.

Yeah, it is pretty much just a part of their nature. Your current feeding does sound okay.
