Tank is looking great! Do you feed your red goni? Just picked one up yesterday, hopefully I’ll have better luck than I do with the green ones.. lol. Have always loved them but they hate me

The red is my favorite! Since the tank is a “dirty” tank, I don’t feed the Corals. My red one has grown much faster than my green one.

I noticed these things growing under one of my “islands” that I thought were Trochus eggs. Today I realized they were actually Tunicates when they reacted to my touch! The pics are terrible but they are pale yellow and spreading out like a spider web. Sooo cool!

It’s a Halloween Hermit. They are the best hermits..... very laid back.

We are getting there I’m actually very excited about getting the plumbing going next week along with finally getting my quarantine tank set up downstairs . I wish I had given myself about one extra foot on either side for reactors and such underneath. I think I can do my BRS dual reactor, uv sterilizer, and the Kalwasser and the ATO but everything else is going to have to be pumped up from the basement fish room

So what are you using to keep the dust down in your tank? I am sending back my sand (it is the live carib sea larger grain) and going with the BRS method black ABS at this point but would love to have some gobys.... Just want the higher flow...

Nothing.

The sand was rinsed well before it was introduced. My MP40s blow it around sometimes depending on the mode. I also have a Goby/pistol combo that move a lot of sand around the tank with no issues. A few times a week I stir the sand to feed the tank.
