Hey #WWC... can you tell me the water flow and lighting that you kept my frags under? They are....

Aquaman Monti
Pink Tip Acro
Pink Passion Acro
Hollywood Dreams Acro
Lemon Fizz Acro
Pink Sapphire Chalice
Key Lime Mango Sherbert Chalice
A freebie... I’m not sure what it is!

Also, how long should I wait for them to get their color back before I get concerned?

Here you go! They can take a week or more the color up sometimes. It really depends on how they shipped. If they don't please contact us and we'll be happy to help you out.

Aquaman Monti - Keep low with medium flow
Pink Tip Acro - High light with high flow
Pink Passion Acro - Med light with high flow
Hollywood Dreams Acro - Med to Med-High Light with high flow
Lemon Fizz Acro - Med light with high flow
Pink Sapphire Chalice - Low light with med flow
Key Lime Mango Sherbert Chalice - Low light with med flow
A freebie... I’m not sure what it is! - Photo?

Thanks so much! I’ve had everything on a rack fairly near the top but I wanted to get the low light guys out of the sun. Question....I thought most acros needed fairly high light. But I see most really prefer not to be blasted. I have other acros that I put up high. Should I move them or does it depend on the species? I also understand that the amount of light can determine a coral’s color. It would be great if someone could make a chart... something like....if you want pink place at 250 par, blue at 300....etc. Does a chart like this exist?

Similar questions, I thought montis were high light, I got a flower petal, seasons greetings, and a vivid’s purple, any of those need lower light, I’ll move them down.

Mine arrived at 9:15 this morning. All look well considering they just got shipped! They are sitting on a piece of egg rate on the bottom for now. I’d have pictures but I literally plopped them in after acclimatization per instructions and have been tiling backsplash ever since. Maybe tomorrow after the grout?

Thanks again great sale, tons of work, lots of happy reefers!!!

Most Monti’s especially plating are actually low light. While diving/collecting them in Fiji I’ve actually found Plating Monti’s down as far as 60’! Which is pretty much the same depth as Chalices! So yes, most like low light.

@WWC could you help me identify my freebie frag?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, there really isn’t a chart as every species/morph is different and originate from different depths which really dictates the color and growth pattern of most corals.
