Xenia and fluconazale issues

Just wondering if any one had issues when dosing floconazale with xenia?
My xenia has almost completely closed up. It's never done that before I started dosing fluc.
No other coral seems under stress.
After first does of 300mg in 30gal tank I started to notice it was closing down.
I did a 1/4 WC and went for another 2 week dose at same 300mg.
I'll be doing 10% WC today and for the next few weeks to seek if it helps.

Xenias could literally thrive in a toilet, so I suspect it will be back to it's weed-like nature before long.

I have heard that and the fact it's the only coral that seems affected it has me scratching my head as to why
