You could try to glue it back on the rock or maybe put a gentle but barely tight enough rubber band around it back on to the rock. Just not ideal that it’s going to be stressed moving to a new tank and then having to root to the rock; but it can make a full recovery.

So is it ok to glue directly on to the Xenia and then try and fit it back onto its stalk? The full base is still ok it’s just a bunch of the heads so I would have go glue them to the stalk they’ve come off of? If that makes sense?

You have a frag of a frag. Sometimes its a good thing, because then you can glue it in 2 separate places. Don't glue it back together, glue them to the same rock or in different places but not back together.

Ah ok perfect. So cut off the part that’s still partly attached and then just glue it on another piece of the rock? Ghs beass are still moving on the part that’s dangling off but I’m taking it it won’t survive like this for long

You can’t reglue Xenia unless it’s attached already to hard substrate which can be safely glued.

Without substrate you can carefully use fishing line to lightly hold it to the rock or elastic band will work.

Over time, it will attach permanently.

That’s true of most softies.

For me, I have had good luck with having Xenia attach to substrate by putting it somewhere with no flow, and then give it a week to attach. Then, I would glue the substrate that the Xenia is attached to onto the rock.
