Today, around 3 to 4 polyps just straight up detached from the colony after 10min turning the lights on.
Numbers:
1450mag
480cal
8alk
1to5nitrate
0no2/nh3

The flow is medium with Medium light.

The only thing I can think of is the ride in temp for a few degrees(1-2). My lps and other softies seem fine.

I don't think that's anything to worry about... Mine did the same.

What u should worry about is it breaking off like it did.. Then taking hold somewhere else...

Mine is currently taking over all my rock...
I'm looking ways to get rid of it without removing all the rock as its impossible for me to do so without breaking down the whole tank pretty much....

It's like a weed!!

That's what xenia does. You'll look up and your whole tank will be taken over. You'll also be wondering how to get rid of it. I got a Pyramid Butterfly which cleared my tank of all xenia. Best fish decision I've made.

I have found the cause. Atfirst I was gonna move the Xenia because it's polyps are a little crooked. Then I felt something. It was a crab that's been propagating my Xenia. It uses it's claws to move around which makes the polyps crooked and eventually fall off. I fed him to my lionfish :)
