It all starts with one frag ….
Now in only 2 years I have Xenia coming out of everywhere.
I even thought I might have successfully but secretly killed off a bunch until it’s come back with a vengeance

what to do with them ?

I prune it back to where I want it to grow

I have been a bit lazy about it and a lot of other things lately though.

Yes, they pick at things. I like fish and so I forgive them. They are why I have tanks.
I hope to get a few more butterflies.

I have some corals but they are just to make the tank more interesting. When you have a lot of fish or large fish they strip the tank until it is like a desert except for ones they wont eat like xenia.

Sell to fish store ,or make another tank and only put that in there with a few clowns and that's it. Or give away, it's a nuisance coral. It will only give problems.give away on here let them pay for shipping idea.

They are nice …..,
I have a old book and have been looking for purple waving Xenia for years but apparently the one I want doesn’t ship well.

I realize this is going a little off topic but as I understand the blue and purple Xenia varieties are very prone to mass dieoffs and very difficult to maintain colonies for commercial sale.
