Looking to make a decision between pro or blue.

Wondering if people can post Pics of their tanks under each. Include what you took pictures with and if filtered.

Thanks ahead!

This is probably the best you’ll get. Pics won’t help you because the blues look way bluer than in person.

I have the pro G5, I find them plenty blue enough, and they have the flexibility of a wider spectrum. With the blue, you're sort of stuck with it I think.

Best find an LFS running the G6 blues and have them set it to all whites so you can see the differences. What I did. I ended up going with XR15 Pro but find my self running AB+ which seemed bluer with the Blue and what I've read and been told. Plus if wanting blue the Blue will have a greater output and why best viewing both side by side yet couldn't find a retailer running both. All ran the Blue.

I thought I wanted close to MH and now seem to prefer it bluer. Gen 4 were the bluest I've seen, however. Good part about G6 being I can change the profile for about $300. Beats selling and buying new. Although the Blue highlight on the Blue lamps is cool.

Right. I get it. The video with Jake is great.

Can totally go to a shop and see them just was hoping for some presearch

Get whatever spectrum you're gonna run at peak (the most PAR) so that you're efficient with power and footprint. Both will do the other spectrum but giving up PAR to do it since not all diodes will be at full.

I run 3 XR30 blues at peak 55% AB because at that intensity I'm getting close to 400PAR on the top of my rocks and 250PAR on my sand bed. I can run the pro spectrum, but would have to dial it up to about 75% to get the same PAR since I have to reduce the blues.
