Went today and they had such a wide variety of brown zoa's I could not make up my mind and went home empty handed:(

I went to a LFS this past weekend and they had a crazy looking wrasse for $250. This wrasse was unidentified and the first to be collected, according to the LFS. The employees at the store were more excited than the customers over it. It was one big wrasse with red/white/orange on it's body! Supposedly it was collected in deeper waters and the supplier even told them it was the first of this kind they had seen. I wish I had my camera. It was a cool looking wrasse but I don't have much experience with wrasses.

Larry always says it is unidentifiable when he wants to charge an outrageous amount. He told me the same thing but never got around to telling me the price. He also told me my Starry Night Blenny was a new blenny to the hobby that hadn't been collected before. LOL

You hit the nail on the head. Larry is the "used care salesman" of LFS in the DC area. He will tell you what you want to hear about a fish. I asked Larry about zoas/palys and he said the best day to show up was Monday at 11am.

Sandy, if you ever decide to go out to Roozens let me know. I live about 25 minutes from there.

I live closer than that. I am about 10 to 12 minutes south of Roozens. I have to drive past the turn off everyday so I stop in quite frequently. They have had some nice stuff come in. I've managed to snag a couple nice smaller frags for cheap.

I am always game on stopping there. Whenever you want to go let me know. 11 am is hard for me because I walk dogs in DC starting at 11 but I am usually done walking by 4 or 4:30. Let me know. I will try to snap a couple pics of a really nice frag I got from there.

Larry favorite saying, " It's rare from Sri Lanka! You don't see that one much!"

Sandy
